The 4 steps to quality care

We make your loved one’s needs our priority from the very start. Call us at any time and we’ll guide you through our process. Here’s an overview of what you can expect:

1. Conversation

We start with a simple chat to find out about your loved one and what support you think they need. If you’re unsure, that’s no problem. We’ll book in a needs assessment where we can get to know them more and talk more about their situation.

2. Face-to-face meeting

A non-obligation visit is then booked for us to produce a needs assessment. Here we will involve your loved one in the discussion so they can voice their thoughts and feelings, if able to do so. We will share some advice and possible options there and then to start considering.

3. Bespoke package

After our visit, we will put together a tailored and bespoke package based around your loved ones needs and requirements, along with some advice on funding and the options available to you.

4. Caring for your family/friend

If you get the opportunity to support your loved one, we will work closely with carers and other healthcare professionals to provide the best care for them. We will match the most suitable carer for the job, based on the type of care needed and also their hobbies and interests. You can now be rest assured that they are in safe hands.
You have to have somebody you trust, this is why we are so happy with Barnfield
From the initial comprehensive assessment onwards, all attention has been given to the client’s individual needs. Carers maintain a high standard of hygiene in the house. They are professional without being distant, showing warmth, kindness and concern for the client. Their careful and attentive administration of medication is meticulous. Timekeeping is good, even on weekends or in bad weather. The communication between carers and management is good.

The carers really made a difference, they were like my angels
I appreciated that the agency made sure my mum had the same regular carers, as consistency really helped for her care. It's always a challenge when you take over a new business, but Sharon and Jas have been great. They gave up their time to listen to my thoughts on mum’s needs which I really appreciated. I’m pleased with the frequent communication.
